Plugin Change History: Old Base Plugin

Prior to version 8 the Base plugin was 1 plugin instead of 2. It contained all the common files shared across all districts and included the DB extensions. However PowerSchool enables plugins piece by piece and the DB extensions are enabled AFTER the PowerQueries. In order to use the extensions in the PowerQueries they had to be split into a separate plugin that gets installed and enabled first and then the rest is installed after. Since DB Extensions are rarely changed and take a considerable amount of time to enable this change also sped up the update process.

This section is included for history. If you have one of these versions please contact support for assistance in updating as there are several changes that will need to be made at the same time.
