What is the All Staff (sync) List?

For Blackbaud Education Management Solutions users the All Staff (sync) contains data that is synced on a nightly basis from Blackbaud using API calls.

Default Setup

The BrightArrow system looks through the Education Management Solutions database of contacts, picking out specifically those individuals who have one more of the following roles:
  • Non-Teaching Staff
  • Nurse
  • Coach
  • Adjunct Faculty
  • Athletic Director
  • Head of [anything]
  • Teacher
  • Staff
  • Faculty

Default contact points

  • Home phone
  • Cell phone
  • Email

Where are the fields?

The phone/email fields are from the demographic information page
* NOT the Emergency Contacts

What kinds of changes can I make?

  • Request to omit roles from the above list
  • Request to add roles not in the above list
  • Role can be loaded into a field so you can make subset lists based on role
  • Position, title, any publishable custom field can be loaded into a field for use in a subset list
  • Emergency Contacts can be used in addition to the default contact points or instead of
  • Roles outside of staff/faculty can be loaded into a separate list
