What is the All Students: Parent Info (sync) List?
For Blackbaud Education Management Solutions users the All Students: Parent Info (sync) contains data that is synced on a nightly basis from Blackbaud using API calls.
Default Setup
The BrightArrow system looks through the Education Management Solutions database of students and for each
Default informational fields
- Student Name
- Grade Level
Default contact points
- Home phone
- For each relationship to the student designated as "Child" or "Step Child" the following fields from the demographic information
- Home Phone
- Cell Phone
- * NOT the Emergency Contacts
What kinds of changes can I make?
- Request to add any field in Blackbaud's Publishable Custom Fields to the data for use in creating subset lists
- BoardingOrDay, Gender, a few other fields can be added to the data for subsets
- Instead of determining parents by relationship, use ListAsParent, PrimaryInd, or ResidesWith checkboxes as indicators
- Use the EmailIsBad or CCEmailIsBad checkboxes to include or exclude emails attached to the parent
- Add in certain Emergency Contacts for parents or students to the list
