Azure Authentication setup

How to setup Azure Active Directory SSO with SAML:

Using Azure to authenticate requires that you use the Azure email address as the login username for BrightArrow. Once set up, this will allow your users to Single Sign on into BrightArrow. If the account does not exist it will be created the first time the user signs in.

In order to set this up, BrightArrow support requires:

  1. Your domain names that email addresses for accounts will be using (exampleschool.org as an example.)
  2. The Azure AD SAML Login URL (something like:  https://login.microsoftonline.com/4049cd8c-300n-5f38-d2va-83a6c0b25d33/saml2)
  3. Your Azure AD SAML Certificate (Base64)  (Looks like something below, but will be longer in length, there will be a link to download the file)

-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----MIIC8DCCAdigAwIBAgIQGLqz2+44zIZBtC07MvsWLDANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQsFADA0MTIwMAYDVDEylNaWNyb3NvZnQgQXp1cmUgRmVkZXJhdGVkIFNTTyBDZXJ0aWZpY2F0ZTAeFw0yMDA0MDkyMTE2MjdaFw0yMzA0MDkyMTE2MjdaMDQxMjAwBgNVBAMTKU1pY3Jvc29mdCBBenVyZSBGZWRlcmF0ZWQgU1NPIENlcnRpZmljYXRlMIIBIjANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAAOCAQ8AMIIBCgKCAQEAyH5f6PzhpYPFoXC15NegcYCa4+AQZNltlh2AF-----END CERTIFICATE-----

Once you provide these things, then support can proceed with the setup on BrightArrow’s servers.
