Push Notifications are not showing even though I'm subscribed

Subscribing to notifications requires some permissions on your device to be set. This should happen automatically but if you need to give it a nudge here are some steps to make sure you receive the notifications you requested.

Directions for iOS

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Choose ParentHub
  3. Press Notifications
  4. Select Lock Screen > Notifications > Banners
  5. Change Show Previews to Always

Directions for Android version 12

  1. Long press the ParentHub app icon
  2. Choose Information icon (sometimes shown as an i)
  3. Press Notifications
  4. Turn on "All ParentHub notifications"
  5. Press General
  6. Turn on "Show Notifications"
  7. Turn on Pop on Screen

Directions for Android version 13

  1. Long press the ParentHub app icon
  2. Choose Information icon (sometimes shown as an i)
  3. Press Notifications
  4. Turn on "Allow notifications"
  5. Select Pop-up notification type
  6. Press "Notification categories"
  7. Press General
  8. Turn on "All Notifications"
  9. Choose Alert
  10. Turn on "show as pop-up"

  1. Long press the ParentHub app icon
  2. Choose Information icon (sometimes shown as an i)
  3. Press Notifications
  4. Select "Notification categories"
  5. Press General
  6. Turn on "show as pop-up"
