Social Media Messaging
BrightArrow can post your messages directly to Facebook. To do this you need to link your account to a list before posting. For help linking the list to Facebook, see Linking to Facebook
Things to know about social media messaging
- Each list can have one Facebook account linked.
- The social media accounts are linked to a specific list, not to your entire account. This means if you want multiple lists to be able to post to Facebook you'll need to set up the link on each of those lists separately. However, this allows for more flexibility. Your district-wide list can post to a district Facebook account, each school building can use a different list for that school's Facebook account, etc.
- The Social Media option will show in the edit message screen even if no social media accounts are connected to that list. If no accounts are linked and the user attempts to choose social media as a posting option, it will prompt them with a message letting them know this has to be set up prior to selecting it.

- Facebook is constantly changing rules and security procedures. We don't get a warning when this happens. If you find that posting to Facebook stops working, please let us know and we'll find out what needs to change so you can resume posting.
