Social Media Messaging
BrightArrow can post your messages directly to Facebook and Twitter. To do this you need to link your account to a list before posting.

Things to know about social media messaging
- Each list can have up to 1 twitter and 1 facebook account linked.
- The social media accounts are linked to a specific list, not to your entire account. This means if you want multiple lists to be able to post to twitter you'll need to set up the link on each of those lists separately. However, this allows for more flexibility. Your district wide list can post to a district twitter and facebook account while each school can have a list that posts to social media accounts that are more narrow, only focussing on that school.
- The Social Media option will show in the edit message screen even if no social media accounts are connected to that list. If no accounts are linked and the user attempts to choose social media as a posting option it will prompt them with a message letting them know this has to be set up prior to selecting it.
- Twitter and Facebook are constantly changing rules and changing security procedures. We don't get a warning when this happens. If you find that posting to Twitter of Facebook stops working please let us know and we'll find out what needs to change so we can resume posting.
