How to Schedule a Message
In BrightArrow, you have the option to schedule messages to go out on a specific date or time, including multiple dates and times. This is useful when you want to send out weekly reminders, notifications, or helpful information to your recipients.
How to Schedule a Message
After you compose your message, you'll be prompted to the final page:
1. Select Schedule Message
2. Choose the date and time that you want your message to be sent
- Schedule Multiple Times - if you want to send this message out on a regular basis, you can set multiple dates and times. In the "Start Time" box, enter the first scheduled date/time for your message. Click the "Schedule Multiple Times" checkbox and click "Schedule". You'll be prompted again to schedule an additional date / time. Follow these steps again for each additional scheduled time.
Can I see which lists have scheduled messages pending?
Yes, you can see scheduled messages from the BrightArrow Central home screen or from your My Lists page.
BrightArrow Central
On the BrightArrow Central home screen, under "Scheduled Jobs" you will see all your messages that are scheduled to send (Administrators will see all scheduled jobs for their organization).
My Lists Page
On the "My Lists" page, you will see "Pending date/time" in the Status and Message Sent columns for each list that has a scheduled message.
Will my scheduled messages be overwritten if I create a new message in the list?
No, your scheduled messages will not be affected by a new message that you create in the same list. When you go to create a new message in a list that already has a scheduled message pending, a pop-up will appear letting you know that a temporary copy of your list will be created. Click OK to proceed.
Once your new message and scheduled message have been created, you will see on the My Lists page that there are now copies of your list. Those will automatically delete once the associated message has sent.
