How to Enable the Different Messaging Types for Users
You can limit or add permissions to staff members to be able to send particular message types. For example, if certain staff members should have the option to send text messages but not phone calls or emails, those permissions can be adjusted through the User Settings.
Only the primary BrightArrow administrator (superadmin) will have the access needed to change these user permissions.
- Login to BrightArrow using the primary login (superadmin).
- From the BrightArrow Central home screen, click the User Accounts button.
- Locate the individual user or user group within the list of user accounts. Click on their name or on the edit pencil next to their name.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to the User Permissions section.
- Enable or disable the corresponding checkboxes for the different message types the user should be allowed to send.
- Click OK to save your changes.
