How to Load a Saved Message

If you already created a message and saved it, you can pull it up again using the "Load Prior Message" option. This option works for any messages that were saved or previously sent to any list that you have access to.

The method below is great for pulling up messages that you recently created and saved or for re-using a message that was sent long ago. However, if you intend on having a message that you will use over and over again like a weather cancellation notice, we recommend creating a list that is dedicated to that specific purpose. See here for more information about the recommended approach for messages that you will reuse many times.

  1. Navigate to your lists in BrightArrow and click on the list you would like to send your message to.
  2. Click the "Create Message" button.
  3. Click "Load Prior Message" at the top of the page.
  4. Select the message you would like to use again. Messages are listed alphabetically by the "Message Name" that was added to them when the message was originally created.
    1. If you know the name of your message, you can use the search bar to find it easily.
    2. Use the page selector to see additional messages.
    3. By default, only messages sent or saved within the past 30 days will show. If you need an older message, click "Load All."
    4. Once you've found the message you need, click the radio dial next to it.
  5. After you click on the radio dial for your message, the message details will appear.
  6. Use the "Preview" button to listen to the voice message and / or send yourself a message preview.
  7. Click "Load This Message into List" to proceed with using the message.
  8. Your prior message is now loaded to the message create page. Make any changes as needed, then click "Next" to proceed as usual with sending it.

*TIP: If you know that you will be pulling up the message again in the future, give it a Message Name that makes it easy to find again. For example, "_Breakfast Message" clearly depicts what the message is about and having the underscore in front of the name will put it at the top of the alphabetical order when you go to find it again.
