Generally speaking if the data is in PowerSchool you can use it for automation. There are a few exceptions but for the most part that's true. Over the years people have come up with many different things they wanted to automate. When those things are not school specific, when they can be used at other places, we include them in the base 2 plugin. Here are examples of what we can set up for you right away. Keep in mind if something you want is not in the list it only means someone hadn't asked yet. We are always looking for more options.

• Current day attendance notifications
• Multi-day attendance letters (5/10/15 day absence notifications for example)
• Reminders for teachers who forgot to take attendance that day
• Low/Negative Balance messages
  
  • This can be done for students, staff or both
• Missing assignment messages
• Weekly low ( or high if you want positive reinforcement ) grade notifications
  
  • Currently only traditional grades but can be made to work with standards, just haven’t had anyone ask yet
• Automate discipline letters
  
  • Currently only logs, will build for incident management once a school that uses it wants it
• Automate other messages based on logs
  • Discipline logs are the only ones that are common across all schools. As such if you have other log based automations you need we'll work with you directly on what those specifications are.
• Generate Current Day bus lists
• Generate teacher sections
  • By default teacher's send messages to their sections using a current selection for that section at the time the button is pushed. However we can automatically create all sections for them to use any day they want. Feature created for BrightChat but can be used for anything.
