What's New in BrightArrow

This article will go through what is new with BrightArrow so you can know over time.

ParentHub can now have colors and a logo that reflect your organization. One set of colors and one logo per customer for the moment.
Parents can now submit attendance absence reasons in advance within ParentHub. Previously they could only respond after the absence message had been sent.
The links page can now be edited by an admin user. Add/edit/remove the links that pertain to your organization as needed
A new interface was added to BrightView to allow system managers to change the colors and logos that show up in ParentHub
ParentHub will no longer offer app push as an option if the organization has not purchased BrightChat
Emails can now be sent in English AND the user's preferred language at the same time

Added ability to show open emailed status. Must be turned on by support.
BrightChat read receipts for both private and group chats
Add filters by student and sender to ParentHub
Add Single Sign On (SSO) with Google for the iOS and Android versions of ParentHub
Add templates in ParentHub for use when sending a message
Absence responses can now be seen in the reports area
Receivers (parents, students, etc) can start a chat with members of the staff directory
ParentHub UI Changes
- Added colors next to messages to allow users to differentiate which student the message is associated with
- Added an the ability to use an image as your avatar. Image can be cropped as well.
- Changed the urgent alerts to red and added a count of unread urgent items
- Tweaks to icons, buttons, fonts and coloring/shadows to make the default interface easier to read
Updated PowerSchool plugins. Current Plugins, Base Plugin 1 Changes, Base Plugin 2 Changes

Allow for multiple phones and multiple emails to be associated with the same ParentHub account so all messages can be seen no matter what phone/email was sent to
Add staff directory to ParentHub
Add absence reporting to ParentHub. When a parent is sent a message about a student's absence they will now have the ability to add a reason from inside ParentHub.
Add links page to ParentHub to allow customers to provide their users with useful links. Currently links will need to be added by support while an admin interface for customers to enter them directly is worked on.
